Finding What Feels Good- november 2025

It's Novemberrrrrr! Ahhhhh. Here we are, beautiful people!

How are we all doing?! How has autumn been to you so far? How's your energy and clarity these days? You're still in bed, haven't had your coffee, or haven't even gotten your day going yet, you say? Okay okay I'll chill out with the questions   Let's just start with a nice deep breath and a few shoulder rolls, shall we?

I don't even know where to begin this email. There's a lot going on in this brain of mine, if I'm being honest. I'm reflecting on my time co-hosting an amazing retreat, trying to enjoy every moment of the rest of this dream trip, attempting to not stress about the million and one things I have to do upon returning to the country, and also just launched a super exciting wellness retreat for next September. Ya girl is all over the place and just trying to keep my feet grounded. It's a balancing act, and I'm surprisingly, doing okay with it all!

I started this newsletter about a week ago when I first got to Santiago, Chile and I knew I had some time before, well, hopping back onto a bicycle and being in the middle of nowhere. (Ya'll,  I'm actually a wild woman these days. I think this year has transformed my attitude forever into, "okay, yeah, that sounds fun, I can do that, let's go"). We're cycling the Carretera Austral for our last adventure!! It's a 770 mile long "highway" (a lot of gravel lol) down in the Patagonia region of southern Chile! My brother is meeting up with us to do a week together and I can't wait to get him in on the dirt-bagging!

October brought really beautiful sense of connection and presence- which was much needed. Arden and I spent about a week with some of his family in southern Portugal and then continued north, up the country, to Porto, where I had such a special 5 days hosting a yoga retreat. It was the slow down I needed before the speed up. As I said earlier, we're on our final leg of this year long adventure- just about 4 weeks left! The next email I send, and the final one of 2025, I'll likely be sending from a lodge in Patagonia right before flying back to Santiago and then back to the US! If you've been reading these  emails all year or keeping up with me on Instagram or WhatsApp, it has meant a lot. Thank you for making me feel so soon and supported and loved. I hope you've received all of those things in exchange, as well!

The Portugal yoga retreat, was incredible and the time spent with those women is what sparked the theme of this month's newsletter- how the people we surround ourselves make us feel. And finding what feels good in friendships, community, family relationships, all of them. After spending almost this entire year away from people who truly know me, it was such a gift to be reminded of what support, love, mutual interest, deep conversation, & no competition, feels like. Arden and I spent our very first day apart from each other this year and I know it sounds cheesy as hell, but reuniting with him, and the person I feel like I am when I'm around him, is such a gift to experience. Our day to day interactions with anyone and everyone add up. They effect us in some ways, and can dictate our choices, our beliefs, our patterns and our moods. If we surround ourselves with people who are judgmental of clothing, cars we drive, or how nice of things we have, we'll feel that pressure in some way. And vice versa- when we're around people who just let us simply be ourselves without some ulterior motive and give us their full attention when we speak to them, we feel the impact of that, as well. I'm feeling more inspired to dive deeper into nurturing my own relationships back home. And to be really intentional with how I spend my time and how I make the people I love feel when in their presence. So this month, and especially as we head into the holiday season (okay which is actually crazy!), I hope we all can make a promise to try to surround ourselves with the people who make us feel like the best, most authentic version of ourselves. And maybe that looks like choosing to say "no" or to set a boundary this month. I hope we have the courage to do what we need to and recognize that the right people will understand and support us.

As always, these newsletters come from a wild place inside my brain and heart- they're never intended to scream "do this! This is the right way to live". All just some things I've noticed within myself and others that can hopefully help us to feel less alone. Ultimately, we all must find what feels good for each of us, individually.

That's it, beautiful people. Sheesh I can't wait to see some of you in like a month or so!!! After just a little taste of familiarity and cozy friendship time during the retreat, I'm itching for more of that. I hope it's a beautifully, abundant month of gratitude, honoring your needs, extending compassion and surrounding yourself with the people who light you up in every way.
