HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2025, baby! It. Is. Going. To. Be. An. Abundant. Year!
I started writing this month's email while at my sister's home in Apex, NC for the holidays and I've continued it while here at airport getting ready for my flight to New Zealand. Okay and now at a coffee shop in the south island of NZ- haha! Getting in my "connection" while I can (: I hope you all are doing so well and your year is off to a great start!
Thank you so much to everyone who joined the 2025 Intention Setting Ceremony! Over 50 of you did it this year- that's incredible! If you didn't get a chance to set aside some time for yourself to think through what you really want and need from 2025, I'd love to send you a recording of the session. Feel free to email me!
WiFi has been limited here in New Zealand, especially in the South Island but I wanted to get out a little something and hope that February's will be a bit more in depth when I'm not living out of a van for 19 days! We landed in Auckland on New Year's Eve and we absolutely did not make it to midnight to celebrate the New Year- the jet lag was real ha! Days here have been mostly out in nature- I'm loving it! We have made a home out of our little camper van and it has been incredible driving all over this stunning island. It is simple living at it's finest. I'm not on my phone hardly at all, so I have had a lot of time to think and then process those thoughts. And nature has this ability to continue encouraging us to do that. Every single day, especially while climbing some pretty freaking hard mountains, I grow more and more appreciative of my health and my body. I'm reminded that our vessels are so precious. Our minds and what we feed them, both literally and figuratively, are essential to our every day reality. I'm also extending a lot of grace and patience toward myself as I let so many emotions flow in and through me.
I hope that this month, the beginning of a brand new year, each of us lean a little more into presence, connection, and self-love. This life is so, so precious. We can spend it living in the false reality, time warp of social media, or experiencing the real, raw, sometimes painful and challenging, thing. I'm practicing all of this as well! We're never alone. Missing ya'll and sending you more of whatever you need this year! I'll be back next month with hopefully a "normal" email with my playlists and all that good stuff (: Until then, keep taking really, really good care of yourselves!
